Professional background, interests and expertise: As a Consultant working in Energy and Sustainability, I am passionate about projects that work toward a clean energy future and set up for a decarbonized, resilient, and reliable energy grid. So far in my career, I have helped utilities with change management strategy, specifically related to beneficial electrification, energy efficiency, and demand response. In the future, I would love to be engaged on more novel energy projects such as small modular nuclear reactors and hydrogen. I enjoy working on dynamic teams of bright people in a fast-paced work environment.

Best professional advice: Wanting to be an agent of change for the environment/climate change is a noble aspiration and sometimes it can feel overwhelming to decide where to start. If you are interested in working in energy, my biggest piece of advice is that you do not have to start out as an expert because the field is undergoing a huge period of change and even industry professionals with 30 years of experience are having to redefine what success looks like. I believe anyone with enough curiosity will thrive if they can think critically and work well in a team.
