The Fundraising Coordinator is a member of the Executive Team on the PLC student staff. This position works closely with members of the Fundraising Subcommittee of the Board of Advocates to learn how build relationships with potential donors, cultivate these donors, and then make official "asks". This position must do data analysis, cold calling, in-person networking, and train in techniques of sales and development. This position is also under the supervision of the Director of PLC and works to maintain donor relationships and thank donors for monthly contributions to the various PLC funds. The Fundraising Coordinator works hard to build support, both emotional and monetary, for the Double the Scholarship campaign, the Dr. Larry Allen Endowment, as well as the general PLC Gift Fund. This position fulfills required hours by attending and participating at the PLC student staff meeting every Monday, as well as the Executive Team meeting each week. Additionally, meetings with the subcommittee board members are also scheduled and attended by this person as needed.
