Professional background, interests and expertise: I've been in nursing for over 20 years, and as a healthcare executive for over ten.
My time as a bedside nurse spanned adult oncology, hospice, emergency/trauma, and in a variety of leadership positions in large hospitals in both Colorado and Texas. I have a passion for helping others, and investing in my team so we can deliver exceptional care to our community.

Best professional advice: Keep your options open. I thought I wanted to be a physician, but it wasn't until I experienced nursing first hand as a patient did I understand the power of nursing. My career has taken many unexpected turns as I've navigated a variety of specialties, jobs, and experiences--but they all yielded a purpose for which I am incredibly grateful.
What does mentorship mean to you? I have hugely benefited from great mentors over my career, and it is my responsibility and joy to pour into, and invest in the development and growth of other leaders.
