Professional background, interests and expertise: I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. I received my B.S. in Applied Mathematics and my B.A. in Economics from the University of ColoradoBoulder in 2005.  In 2010, I obtained my M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. I earned my Ph.D. in Finance from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013.  I am also a CFA charterholder.  My areas of research are Asset Management, Exchange Traded Funds, SRI Investing, and Crowdfunding.  Prior to my career in academia, I worked as a fixed income research analyst.  I specialized in the areas of structured credit products, corporate debt, and mortgage-backed securities.
