Degree(s): BFA Film Production

Professional background, interests and expertise: Feature production VFX experience since 2005 with broadcast and feature editing experience in both narrative and documentary since 2003 makes me a post production strong man in a sensible shirt.

I'm a fast paced Nuke/Flame artist with a winning attitude. I enjoy meeting new challenges, learning new software & techniques, and finishing hot projects with great folks.

I directed, shot, and edited the definitive feature documentary about competitive improvised comedy called The Laughing Matter. It also may be the only feature documentary about competitive improvised comedy? Released by Film Buff March 2014, it is available for sale or rent on your favorite online movie vendor here: www.thelaughingmatter.com

Hours available for mentoring per month: 2 or more

Best professional advice:  Visual effects can be a fun and fascinating career path through studio production! Its not for the faint of heart but if you've made it through PLC then you are already overly qualified. The next step is getting your foot in the door and grinding out those first few years of fundamental production experience. Then you too can work on big hot shots in crazy blockbuster movies!

The trick is to be kind, respectful and patient with your co-workers at every level. People will want your help and will want to help you!
