PLC Alumni and Donor Engagement Coordinator

5-7 Hours/Week: $1,000 Annual Scholarship
Reports to: Jessie Kasynski, and Aaron Roof, Interim Director

The PLC Alumni and Donor Engagement Coordinator supports and facilitates with the PLC Alumni Club, an official group of the CU Boulder Alumni Association. The PLC Alumni Club is an independent entity that exists to continue supporting extraordinary leaders after they graduate. The PLC Alumni and Donor Engagement Coordinator serves as the link between the official alumni club and current PLC students, ensuring a strong connection between the two populations. The A&D Engagement Coordinator will also work with the PLC Director to organize student-based donor recognition efforts. Applicants should be 21+ of age at the start of AY18-19 or turn 21 soon after. This position will also entail meetings with alumni after business hours, oftentimes in Denver.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and implementing the 2018-2019 Alumni Engagement Coordinator Plan. This plan will be completed and submitted for approval no later than September 1, 2018.
  • Manage the continued development of the Presidents Leadership Class Group on LinkedIn
  • Manage and recruit alumni for the continued development the PLC Alumni Mentor Program
  • Take the lead role in developing, planning, and implementing the alumni/board/student/community partner Networking Night (with the Senior Class Coordinator)
  • Work with the President of the PLC Alumni Club and support programming initiatives - Homecoming Happy Hour and Tailgate, PLC Interviews Happy Hour, Spring Lecture, PLC Summit, Annual Meeting
  • Advocate for current student engagement in alumni programming when appropriate
  • Attend PLC Alumni Club meetings (~2/year)
  • Curate alumni information for Fall & Spring Community Newsletters- Featured Alumni submissions and Alumni Club Updates and Events
  • Coordinate current student outreach to alumni and other community supporters
  • Write and/or ensure student thank you letters/email/phone calls are completed monthly to supporters and donors from the preceding 30 days
  • Serve as a member of the PLC Legacy Endowment Campaign Committee
