ADA Compliance frequently receives questions about ergonomic consultation services and the manner through which an employee might receive an evaluation. ADA Compliance can assist with ergonomic evaluations and adjustments for employees who have a disability. Employees who need an ergonomic evaluation and adjustments on account of a disability should request an accommodation through ADA Compliance. 

Employees who do not have a disability, but who are experiencing pain as a result of their workstation should contact University Risk Management to inquire about filing a claim under worker’s compensation.

Employees who do not have a disability, and who are not currently experiencing pain as a result of the ergonomics of their workspace, but who are interested in receiving an ergonomic evaluation should inquire with their department.
