As an Alumna of CU Boulder, Scarlett began her educator role over 20 years ago, interconnecting academic and student affairs roles in a variety of Colleges and Schools on campus. She exemplifies a passion for creating supportive learning environments and challenging students to grow and find their joy.
Before joining the Office of Undergraduate Education, Scarlett was the Senior Director of Academic Advising and Student Success, and Program Director for the MA in Higher Education program at the School of Education. In her current role, she will work collaboratively to support the campus advising community and the profession of advising as a scholar and practitioner. As part of this goal she will support, encourage, and inspire campus-wide coordination and integration of advising approaches and best practices that lead to student success. She will work closely with students, staff and faculty to create a culture of understanding of the enduring value of lasting relationships between students and advisors. She plans to continue lively and energizing conversations across campus to collaboratively build a supportive campus-wide advising community that 100% supports our students.
In her free time, you will find Scarlett planning and training for the Pack-Burro Racing season and figuring out the next best way to bring others joy through international experiences and celebrations.
