The academic advising and coaching community at CU Boulder provides holistic and personalized support with an ethic of care that empowers students to actively engage as they navigate their resources and opportunities, develop goals, build skills, and work toward their academic, personal, and professional success.

The Campus Advising Executive Council (CAEC) is a leadership group that influences and manages positive change in the advising and coaching community for both student and staff success. CAEC members discuss and vote on a handful of shared high-level priorities or approaches and implement these efforts as best suits the local disciplinary context. CAEC members' span of influence varies based on their role in their college, school, or program. Shelly Bacon & Scarlett Pontón de Dutton support, influence, and facilitate discussions. The group meets bi-monthly.

Staff-Facing Communication Infrastructure

We know it can be challenging to keep track of various communication sources, so here’s a guide that you can refer back to as needed:

Check out the CU Boulder COVID-19 Updates & Resources page for up-to-date information including but not limited to masking and vaccination requirements, public health guidance, and diagnostic testing opportunities.

Buff Info is a resource center and a one-stop-info-shop of trained professionals to field questions for faculty, staff, students, and Buff families alike. All questions are welcome, including questions regarding academic affairs, student affairs, bursar's office, etc. Buff Info serves as an information center by answering questions directly or routing to the appropriate office.

Buff Info liaisons may be reached at 303-492-INFO (4636) or via email, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
