Bang Nhan photoBang Nhan, a Ph.D. candidate at CU Boulder was one of 6 students to receive the American Astronomical Society’s Honorable Mention Chambliss Prize. He received this acknowledgement based upon the quality of his dissertation research. Bang’s poster presented new results on the detection of the foreground polarization signal using the Cosmic Twilight Polarimeter which Bang helped to build and collect data in Charlottesville during the fall of 2017. Bang is jointly supervised by NESS PI Jack Burns at CU and Co-Investigator Rich Bradley at NRAO.  Congratulations to Bang for his honor! Read more…
