My advice to students...

Success in music—and in life—comes from a balance of dedication and discernment. Work hard, but also work smart—let your effort be guided by intention and curiosity. Stay ready for every opportunity; the doors that open often lead to unexpected and beautiful paths. Collaboration is your superpower—music thrives when shared, and your growth is amplified through connection. Always be professional: show up prepared, honor your commitments, and lead with integrity. Respect is the foundation of every meaningful relationship—give it freely, and you’ll receive it in return. And most importantly, stay humble. No matter how far you go, remember that learning never ends and every person you meet has something to teach you. Let your humility keep you grounded, your spirit open, and your artistry alive.
