Walt Morgan
- He/Him/His

My personal biography/journey...
Hi, I’m Walt. My entire life – the beauty, the pain, the hardship, the learning, the work and the wonder – has been a journey that has led to this place where I can serve others as a coach. That feels like a powerful opportunity that has been given to me.
I live on The Hill in Boulder with my family (my wife, two school-aged children and our dog Hank). As an aside, my son’s middle name is Folsom (I graduated from CU in 1993).
For recreation, I ski and mountain bike, but my greatest passion is backcountry fly fishing.
My professional/coaching journey...
I was a helicopter pilot in the United States Navy for 23 years and retired at the rank of Commander.
When I left the Navy, I felt a strong calling to work in leadership development. I responded to that call through employment in corporate leadership development for over three years before establishing my own coaching business in 2019.
I have also taught leadership classes at CU Boulder for the last eleven years.
