Shannon Sisler is a business-minded, progressive leader with a successful track record building, directing, and transforming people practices that enable success for several well-known global organizations. She is a proven executive having served as a public company leader in globally complex companies for 25+ years spanning multiple industries in all regions. She has significant experience leading large/diverse teams, serving as a Board/C-Suite advisor and creating comprehensive solutions throughout the employee lifecycle that drive outstanding business outcomes.

Currently, Shannon is the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Crocs, a progressive footwear company. Reporting directly to the CEO, Shannon has played a critical leadership role in the turnaround of Crocs since 2017. Notable accomplishments include revenue growth from $1B to $3B+, employee engagement in the top 10% of global retailers, recent $2.3B acquisition of HEYDUDE, rightsizing the global retail footprint and accelerating digital commerce, shifting internal manufacturing to 3rd parties, designing/opening new distribution centers and global headquarters, expanding Board diversity, advancing Crocs Cares corporate social responsibility initiatives and implementing globally consistent people practices that have enabled the organization to thrive during the pandemic.

Previously, Shannon served as the Senior Vice President of HR at Western Union and led large-scale business transformation efforts. Shannon was also the Vice President of Talent and Diversity at DaVita and was responsible for leading efforts to optimally select, assess, develop, and retain teammates while managing corporate social responsibility and diversity initiatives. Prior to DaVita, Shannon was the Senior Vice President and Global Head of HR at Janus Capital Group and started her career at TeleTech, Level(3) Communications and Accenture.

Shannon earned her MBA from the University of Denver (DU) and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, from the University of Colorado (CU) at Boulder. She is an active member of NACD and in 2021 completed her NACD Directorship Certification and the Harvard Women on Boards executive education program.

Shannon is passionate about promoting education and advancing women/girls. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) as the Chair Elect and was Board Governance Chair where she led a successful GSCO CEO search/transition. She also serves on the Board for the CU Leeds School of Business. After 10 years, she concluded her Director responsibilities at the Leadership Investment and completed the Ashoka Executive in Residence program volunteering for Fundación Escuela Nueva in Bogota, Colombia. Shannon has been recognized with Best in Biz 2021 HR Executive of the Year, 2020 Denver Business Journal C-Suite Award, University of Denver 2019 Steward Award and by the National/Colorado Diversity Council as one of the 2015 Most Powerful and Influential Women. Over the years, she and her teams have been spotlighted in numerous publications/conferences including Forbes, Fortune, The Economist, UN Women, and The Conference Board.

Shannon is married to a CU Buff and is a mother of three. She enjoys global travel personally/professionally (70+ countries) and spending time with her family in the Colorado mountains.
