One student from each nominating affiliate program will ultimately be selected. In order to complete your application for Student Leader of the Year, please

  • complete an online form, 
  • submit a PDF of a recommendation letter from your program director or professor that addresses student contributions and service to campus and the community,
  • and submit a PDF of a recommendation letter from a peer that addresses the nominee's character and embodiment of the Colorado Creed.
  • upload a professional headshot or an individual photo in which you look professional

Process Timeline

  • August 21, 2023 - Nomination and Application Process opens on Center for Leadership website
  • December 15, 2023 - Nomination and Application Process closes; late applications will not be considered
  • December 18, 2023 - Student Leaders of the Year are notified
  • TBD 2024 - Recognition dinner; Student Leaders to be showcased
