Pamela Dennis Headshot
Pamela has worked with amazing leaders and their organizations for over 35 years: from global Fortune 100 firms like GE, GM, Merck,  Telstra, BHPbilliton, Turner Broadcasting/CNN, Ferrer Pharmaceuticals and JP Morgan to emerging companies in bio-pharma and alternative energy involving their IPO and PEG transitions. She knows the challenges of diverse industries in growth times and in downturns.
She was part of the core faculty and consulting team in twelve of the GE businesses launching and supporting major transformation initiatives as well as working with the future CEOs of Google (Eric Schmidt) and GM (Mary Barra) in their change initiatives.
Pamela built and led an international consulting business that received recognition for its own growth and impact: “Mercury 100 Fastest Growing Colorado Companies”; “Boulder Top 25 Women Owned Companies” “Colorado Top 100 Women Owned Businesses”; Denver “YWCA Outstanding HR Professionals”.
She sold that business after nearly 20 years and the firm continues today. That process and her research led to the publication of her book, Exit Signs: the expressway to selling your business with pride and profit.
Pamela is proud to be affiliated with CU Leadership Program and the Leeds School of Business to support developing leaders.
Her alma maters include the University of Colorado--a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Education, the University of California, Santa Barbara -- an MA  and from California State Polytechnic Univ, San Luis Obispo-- a BS.

My advice to students...

Prioritize developing insight and empathy and you will build the strongest relationships and careers. Without it, you can't learn from successes AND failures or build strong teams and organizations.  A major CEO  I worked with (frequently on magazine covers) who had neither, told his executive team, "I know I will be a success in developing our future leaders when the culture here no longer tolerates my style."
