Nithin Singh Mohan

  • Senior AI & ML Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

I work at the frontier of AI and supercomputing, building teams and technologies that transform how enterprises and research organizations solve their most complex challenges. My career has taken me from scaling early-stage innovation at a Boulder-based startup—one of the few from Boulder to achieve unicorn status with an acquisition nearing $1B—to driving global adoption of AI and high-performance computing at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

As a CU Boulder alum, I am deeply connected to this community and committed to giving back by mentoring the next generation of leaders. What drives me is the opportunity to bring together technology, strategy, and people—turning ideas into solutions that make a real societal impact, shaping strategies that enable equitable growth, and empowering diverse teams to innovate and thrive.

I believe leadership is not just about delivering results but about enabling others to reach their full potential. I am always eager to share my experiences and help students cultivate curiosity, resilience, and collaboration as they prepare to lead in an increasingly complex world.

My advice to students...

Stay curious—technology evolves faster than any one of us can master, and curiosity will keep you learning. Be resilient—challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but they are also the moments that shape your growth the most. And above all, value collaboration—great innovations, from AI breakthroughs to the world’s fastest supercomputers, are built not by individuals alone but by diverse teams working together with a shared purpose.

Never underestimate your ability to contribute meaningfully, even early in your career. Lean into hard problems, surround yourself with people who inspire you, and remember that leadership is less about titles and more about enabling others to thrive.
