Mya De La Rosa Headshot

Mya De La Rosa is from Southern California and is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics. She trained as a cadet in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) for two years and served as a Teal Rope Cadet, connecting cadets with resources for mental health support and sexual assault prevention and response.

Passionate about mentorship and inclusion in STEM, Mya actively supports underrepresented students through CU Science Discovery and the Society of Women Engineers. She earned her Private Pilot Certificate through Tuskegee NEXT, where she now serves on the Alumni Committee, working to expand aviation opportunities for underrepresented youth while honoring the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.

Guided by the principle of developing technology that improves lives as a leader of character, Mya aspires to become a test engineer in aerospace defense or space exploration technologies.
