  • Owner, The Bradley Boulder Inn, (recently sold business, August 1, 2025)
I am both an adventurer and a generalist, which has granted me a wide-ranging, and interesting career in a variety of business fields, including: international art exhibition management; commercial real estate marketing; investor relations in a publicly-owned technology company; workshop leader in the pharmaceutical industry; and, most recently, a hotel owner (The Bradley Boulder Inn) for 25 years in downtown Boulder (sold in August, 2025).

My advice to students...

Most of my career advice relates to paying attention to hidden opportunities. Be brave, or at least, pretend to be brave. Take what you want out of a job - don't wait for someone to notice you, or hand you anything. Be informed and participate in the world around you. Be aware of current events. Answer the phone when you get a call and always return messages. Sometime during your college years, take a part-time restaurant job as a server, and learn how to talk to people from different walks of life. Make eye contact when you are speaking to someone. Take off your headphones and listen and learn from the people who cross your path during your day. Throw yourself into new situations that may be outside your comfort zone. Have fun out there!
