My advice to students...

I have been in leadership "training" since my earliest years, including being a Presidents' Leadership Class scholar at CU, but my leadership philosophy continues to be refined regularly.  I consider everyone a "leader" in the since that all are influencers -- for bad or for good, unknowingly or deliberately.  If deliberate, we can grow that skill, like any.  And the secret ingredient for doing so is . . . empathy.
