Bing Chou

Bing Chou is a managing director at MojoTech, a leading team of software engineers, designers, and product managers creating web and mobile products for customers across North America.  Before joining MojoTech, Bing launched a small business of his own, earned his MBA, and joined a venture-backed startup. Outside of the office he spends his time moderating Boulder Open Coffee, advising a variety companies on a volunteer basis including serving as a board member for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Boulder Chamber, and Downtown Boulder Partnership.

My advice to students...

Leadership doesn't require a management title or any other explicit authority. It's something that you're able to offer your peers, your superiors, and your direct reports no matter what role you have in an organization. The best career advice I ever gave myself and now give to those who will listen: surround yourself with people who have that uncommon combination of brainpower and give-a-shit.
