Amarin Gifford

My name is Amarin Gifford, and I am from Aurora, Colorado. I am currently a sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry. I am a Norlin Scholar, Learning Assistant, undergraduate researcher, and Honors student. I have ongoing publications for ecological research at Denver University alongside a group of young girls through a program that strives to encourage their interests in STEM, and I also volunteer to teach chemistry lessons at middle schools through the S.C.O.P.E. program. Outside of academics, I love watercolor painting, playing tennis, and attending concerts. I am so excited to contribute to the CU Boulder community as a Newton Fellow!
