CFL Leadership Coaching Program

The Center for Leadership is excited to offer a one-on-one Leadership Coaching Program for students for the 2022/2023 school year.

THE COACHING PROGRAM

Students will be partnered with a professional leadership coach from mid-October 2022 through April 2023. Students will receive approximately 10 hours of coaching at no financial cost (a $5,000 to $10,000 value).

• One-on-one sessions with a professional leadership coach over the course of a school year (fall/spring semester).
• Students define their own leadership goals and the steps necessary to activate them.
• Sessions are self-scheduled at your convenience.
• Students may take an assessment to increase their self-awareness as a leader.

Students will be asked to participate in research related to their coaching experience. Individual coaching content and sessions are confidential between the student and coach.

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP COACHING?

Leadership Coaching examines the models and techniques used to develop leadership in others through a coaching relationship.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

PAYING IT FORWARD

Students will also be asked to make their own leadership commitment to making positive change in the world as a way to pay this gift forward.

PROCESS

• Students apply and are nominated through their leadership program.
• Selections will be made by September 30, 2022.
• Pairing with a professional coach based on their interests and goals.
• Kick-off of coaching relationship with first sessions beginning the week of October 17th

The CFL Coaching Program is limited to 30 students this academic year.
