Alexa joined the lab in August 2022 as Professional Research Assistant and is coordinating the SCCY study. She graduated from Tulane University in 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology and hopes to eventually pursue a PhD in child or adolescent clinical psychology. She is interested in examining effective interventions, evidence-based treatments, and community-based supports that could lead to higher rates of resilience for children and adolescents who experience trauma or adverse childhood experiences. In her free time, Alexa enjoys reading, bouldering, and hiking.
