CU has a proud history at the Olympics, with more than 100 student-athletes and alumni representing teams through the years. The Olympic Winter Games in Beijing are a continuation of the tradition. 

At the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP), staff and students have started a new NASA mission called the Imaging X-Ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE). Over the next two years, staff will manage the day-to-day mission operations of the spacecraft.
