Bright Horizons

CU Boulder has partnered with Bright Horizons to help employees better manage work, family, and personal responsibilities. There are two programs available to eligible employees:

Faculty and Staff Assistance Program

Dedicated to serving the emotional and psychological needs of the campus community. FSAP offers free teletherapy and in-person (including outdoors) counseling to CU Boulder faculty and staff. 

Wellness Events

Free Workshops and seminars for wellness and work-life. Topics range from gardening to mindfulness to nutrition.

Tuition Assistance Benefit

Eligible employees may receive nine (9) waived credits for eligible courses at any CU campus per academic year, or in any given academic year, running from fall to summer, an eligible employee may give their Tuition Assistance Benefit to an eligible dependent or split it between multiple dependents.

Employee Learning & Professional Development

Organization & Employee Development offers a comprehensive learning catalog to CU Boulder employees. 

CU Employee Leadership & Management Certificate

Fitness Center Discounts & Weightloss Programs (Sponsored by Be Colorado)

All employees at the University of Colorado (CU) and CU Medicine (CUMed) are eligible for these great discounts at a variety of gyms and fitness centers along the Front Range.

CU Recreation Center

Faculty or staff employed on the Boulder campus, Boulder campus retirees, and employees of University System offices in Boulder are eligible for a membership to the CU Boulder Recreation Center.

Be Colorado for CU Health Plan Members

CU Health Plan and Be Colorado have teamed up to provide employees with a full spectrum of programs. These programs are designed to give employees with CU Health plans the information, inspiration and support needed to achieve their best self.

Financial

TIAA One-on-One Financial Consultation

CU employees are eligible to meet with financial professionals from the university’s retirement plan service provider Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA) at no cost. Discuss any financial issue—from everyday budgeting to managing debt and (of course) retirement planning.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness

CU is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit qualifying employer under the PSLF program. Employee Services, the CU System office that serves all four campuses, will assist you in completing Public Service Loan Forgiveness form.

Eco-Pass

CU Boulder provides passes for qualifying employees. The passes provide access to all Local, Limited, Express and Regional bus service, in all fare zones, including the SkyRide bus service to DIA*. (*Not valid on special services, including but not limited to Access‑a‑Ride, BroncosRide, BuffRide, RockiesRide, RunRide, Saturday Shopper, and SeniorRide.)

B-cycle

cycle bike sharing provides an opportunity for convenient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly transportation around Boulder.  There are 280 bikes at 40 stations around Boulder and 10 stations serving the CU Boulder campus. CU Boulder employees can purchase an unlimited pass at a discounted rate. 

UMC and Folsom Bike Stations

The CU bike station mechanics are here to assist you in maintaining your registered bike and in doing light repairs.
