Transportation

Eco-Pass

The Eco Pass provides eligible CU faculty, staff and eligible retirees bus and light rail service (including Local, Regional and Express service).

B-cycle

B-cycle bike sharing provides an opportunity for convenient, cost-effective and eco-friendly transportation around Boulder.  There are 280 bikes at 40 stations throughout Boulder and 10 stations serving the CU Boulder campus. CU Boulder employees can purchase an unlimited pass at a discounted rate.

CarShare

To provide solutions that work for you and your department CU Boulder partners with two carsharing services, eGO CarShare and Zipcar.

Guaranteed Ride Home

The Guaranteed Ride Home Program provides CU Boulder Eco Pass smart card holders with a free taxi ride home in the event of an emergency or work schedule change when they take the bus, car pool or use alternative transportation to get to work.

Carpool/ Vanpools

CU Boulder has launched CU Commute, a social platform that networks users by alternative methods of transportation. CU Commute offers incentives, prizes and a trip tracker for folks who use alternative methods of transportation.

Travel by Bike

The Bike Program is your one-stop shop for all things related to biking at CU. Operated by Parking & Transportation Services and the Environmental Center, the CU Bike Stations offer mechanic assistance, Buff Bike 2-day free rentals (free to faculty, staff and students!), and the bike registration program.

CU Night Ride

CU NightRide is a student-operated program dedicated to meeting the safety needs of CU students, faculty and staff by providing night-time transportation to support a safe, academic and socially responsible environment both on campus and in the community. CU NightRide is free for CU students, faculty and staff.

Walk-In Support

Provides campus affiliates computing support for their personal or university owned equipment by trained technicians at no cost to the client.

Dispatched Support

Service is set by appointment and conducted at the customer's on-campus location of choice.

Antivirus Software

Antivirus software for personal or university computers at no cost to CU Boulder faculty, staff and students.

Computers & Software Discounts

Educational pricing on new computers and software is available through the CU Bookstore.

Discounts

Benefit Hub

As a state employer, CU Boulder employees are eligible to participate in the State of Colorado’s employee discount program.

EcoPass Extra Program

Use your EcoPass and save with discounts at restaurants, stores and more! Just flash your EcoPass at these participating local businesses.

CU Athletics Discounts

Eligible CU Boulder employees may receive discounts on CU Buffs season tickets and some single game tickets when offered.

CU Presents Discounts

CU Presents offers all CU Boulder faculty and staff with valid Buff One cards a 25% discount on all Artist Series, Eklund Opera and some special events! This discount becomes available when single tickets go on sale, usually in August for most events. This discount is not available at the Box Office night-of-show.

Wellness & Fitness

CU Recreation Center

Faculty or staff employed on the Boulder campus, Boulder campus retirees and employees of University System offices in Boulder are eligible for a membership to the CU Boulder Recreation Center.

Be Colorado

CU Health Plan and Be Colorado have teamed up to provide employees with a full spectrum of programs such as flu shots, Be Colorado Move, fitness center discounts and weight loss programs. These programs are designed to give employees with CU Health Plans the information, inspiration and support needed to achieve their best self.

Life-Long Learning

University Libraries

Borrowing University Libraries materials is simple. Your Buff OneCard is your library card.  CU Boulder faculty and staff  can borrow most items up to 6 months.

Lynda.com

Lynda.com provides a vast online library of instructional videos covering the latest software, creative and business skills. Online learning through lynda.com is available for all CU-Boulder faculty, staff and students.

SkillSoft

Use Skillsoft for online training or choose from more than 25,500 titles in Skillsoft Books. The best part: courses and books are available on your computer so you can learn at your own pace when it’s convenient for you.

Employee Learning Programs

Human Resources offers a comprehensive learning catalog to CU Boulder employees through Organization and Employee Development and the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.

Bright Horizons Care Advantage (SitterCity & Years Ahead) Membership
