ISSS SOAR - Students Organizing for Arrival and Resources
ISSS is excited to launch ISSS SOAR - Students Organizing for Arrival and Resources, a new student advisory board seeking to foster an engaging and community-building environment for International Student Orientation.
ISSS SOAR - Students Organizing for Arrival and Resources is a volunteer student advisory board made up of current CU Boulder students who are passionate about fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for new international students during the Fall and Spring International Student Orientations. This board collaborates with ISSS staff to enhance orientation-related engagement activities and serves as a bridge between ISSS staff and incoming international students offering peer perspectives, logistical support, and opportunities for community engagement.
Continuing CU Boulder Students
Apply to be an ISSS SOAR Board Member by completing the ISSS SOAR Board Interest Form. ISSS needs your help and insight. By sharing your experiences and perspectives you can help ISSS shape an orientation program that fosters community and belonging for all new International Buffs while ensuring they have the information and resources needed for academic, professional, and personal success!
*After submitting your interest form, please allow ISSS at least 5 business days to review your submission. If selected, an ISSS staff member will email your Colorado.edu email address to set up a quick 5 minute ‘interview’ to ensure the expectations for board members will align with your schedule and values.
