Sponsored student advising: Important updates for spring 2026

Starting January 12, 2026, sponsored students must book a sponsored student in-person advising appointment in advance of the advising session. Walk-ins are no longer available. This change was made to allow as many advising options as possible.

• Sponsored Student advising appointments are for students sponsored by Aramco Services, the Kuwait Cultural Office, Embassy of Oman, SABIC, SACM, SCO, or Fulbright students or scholars.   

Sponsored students can also continue to book a sponsored student remote advising session.

• Both in-person and remote sponsored student advising appointments can be scheduled on online. 

Starting January 12, 2026, sponsored students and Fulbright participants can access advising at the following times:

• Mondays:  12:30 to 3 p.m., IN-PERSON, by appointment
• Wednesdays: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., IN-PERSON, by appointment
• Thursdays:  2:30 to 4:30 p.m., REMOTE, by appointment
