Passengers two years of age and older flying directly to or connecting through the U.S. from China (including Hong Kong and Macau) as well as those flying through third-country gateways (including Seoul, Vancouver, and Toronto) are subject to this new requirement. The requirement applies to these air passengers regardless of nationality and vaccination status.

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from a test administered no more than two days before flying must be provided to the airline.

  • Documentation must be of a PCR or antigen test administered by a telehealth service, accredited laboratory, or testing provider.

Passengers who test positive more than 10 days but not exceeding 90 days before a flight can provide documentation of recovery in lieu of the negative test result.
