On January 18, 2021, President Trump terminated the restriction on certain travelers from the Schengen area, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and Brazil, effective January 26, 2021. The restriction on travel from China and Iran was not terminated. It has been reported, however, that the Biden Administration will block the proclamation that terminates the ban on travel from the Schengen area, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and Brazil. ISSS will provide updates as the Biden administration announces policies regarding the situation.
