The Summer Multicultural Access to Research Training (SMART) Program is an esteemed 10-week residential experience that invites undergraduates from across the country to our campus, offering them the opportunity to delve into STEM research under the guidance of our distinguished faculty mentors and to sculpt a robust foundation for their graduate studies.

The Brent Willis Scholarship aims to empower the next generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators. It reflects Brent’s belief in the transformative power of education and his dedication to fostering talent and ambition. This scholarship is designed to support graduate and undergraduate students in the USA who demonstrate the potential to excel in their chosen fields and make meaningful contributions to society.
Award Amount: $1,000

Emery Reddy is a law firm in Washington that is dedicated to helping and empowering students. Emery Reddy is seeking to provide scholarships for both students who have been accepted into law school and undergraduate students.
Award: $5,000 dollars ($2,000 to one selected law school student, $1,000 to three selected undergraduate students)

The DOE NNSA SSGF seeks and support students pursuing a PhD in areas of interest to stewardship, such as materials under extreme conditions, nuclear science, or high energy density physics. Renewable for up to four years, the fellowship is open to U.S. citizens who plan full-time, uninterrupted study toward a doctoral degree at an accredited U.S. university.
Amount: $45,000 yearly

This progress and support group is designed to provide self-identified BIPOC women with a safe and welcoming space to connect, celebrate and support one another's whole authentic selves. Group themes include mental health, gender, race and ethnicity, empowerment, resiliency, relationships, professional achievement and more.

Nov. 15, 2024 | 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. | In Person OR Virtual
This weekly hybrid workshop to learn about a work of art and then participate in a related mindfulness practice. The powerful, guided meditation can undo stress, soothe the nervous system, and help you feel relaxed and revitalized. If practiced regularly, the meditation teaches a method for feeling calm, easeful and resilient, even when facing life’s challenges. Meditations are open to students, faculty, staff and the public. All are welcome and there is no need for past experience with meditation.
