The Colorado Diversity Initiative offers professional development, mentoring and financial support opportunities to underserved current graduate students in science, math, and engineering. Through the initiative, we foster a community of current graduate student peers, and offer them the opportunity to meet, socialize and share their experiences.

CDI offers opportunities for current grad students to mentor the next generation of STEM scholars through our SMART Program and Colorado Advantage Program. We are also affiliated with STEM Routes, a graduate student-led organization that offers mentoring and community. In addtion, CU Café is an independent organization composed of postdocs and graduate students that invites underrepresented scholars to campus to give discipline-specific colloquia and also to provide career development and inspirational talks.
