Casey Ringer

Advisor: Professor Kadia • Casey Ringer is a second-year MA student specializing in U.S. and Japanese relations and the colonial occupation of Asia and the Pacific before and during the Second World War. She seeks to identify continuity between eras of occupation under international bodies such as the League of Nations and United Nations. Her past research has focused on humanitarian efforts on Tinian Island during WWII. Casey graduated from CU in 2024 with B.A.s in History and Philosophy. Outside of research, she enjoys competitive debating and exploring the high altitudes of Colorado through hiking and skiing.
