CU Boulder Property Services will hold a public auction of surplus property and equipment on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Please note that masks will be required to attend and/or participate in the event.  The Dickensheet auction house may have additional rules and restrictions, please refer to their website for further information.  

Items -- including computers, furniture, lab equipment, athletics equipment, etc. that are currently scheduled for auction can be viewed via the Excel spreadsheet located here.  Preview of the items will be from 8:00am - 9:00am, the auction will begin at 9:00am.  Auctions are held on the east side of the CU Boulder Distribution Center, 3300 Walnut Street, in Boulder.

Thursday, October 21, 2021 has been set aside specifically for department viewing only, giving CU Boulder departments a chance to acquire surplus items before they go on sale to the public.  Preview times for CU Boulder departments are from 9:00am to 3:30 pm.

CU Boulder Distribution CenterFriday, October 22, 2021 has been set aside for public preview of items between 9:00am and 3:30pm.  Please park at the front of the building on 33rd street or the parking lot if space is available, then walk along the south side of the building to the back docks where you will be directed to the viewing area. Items may not be purchased during the time set aside for preview of the auction items.

State of Colorado (including CU) employees are welcome to participate in the live auction, as well as ongoing live auctions through websites such as, and State of Colorado employees will be required to sign a non-conflict of interest certification stating they were involved with neither procurement nor the decision to dispose of the item(s) purchased at CU Boulder’s public auction.
