Band Rentals and Concerts
Play under our huge dome with trippy visuals! Our cosmic stage and epic sound system are waiting for you!
To get the ball rolling, we'll need a few things from you.
Band leader's contact name, email, and phone number
Your band's website address and/or Facebook page
Your band's biography (200 words or less)
Your input list
Your stage plot(our stage is approximately 14.5 x 16 feet)
What stage equipment will you need (microphones, stands, monitors, etc.)?
Event poster (If you don't have a poster, we're happy to design one for a $50.00 fee. Printing costs may include an additional fee.)
Do you want a multi-track recording? If so, we charge a $100.00 fee.
We have revenue sharing and flat rental agreements. Contact us to chat more about the details and to provide the info listed above.
All concert dates must be negoitated and finalized at least 6-8 weeks in advance, so we can make arrangements to staff your concert and obtain any necessary permits. And, your band must agree to attend a 1.5 hour sound-check/rehearsal on or preferably, before your performance date.
Children's Birthday Parties
Basic "Bunches of Fun" Birthday Party includes table/chair set-up for up to 20 people and 1 staff person to help.
"Spectacular" Sound Birthday Party includes everything from the basic party above, plus microphone use, light tower, and a vibrating floor.
"Terrific" Telescope Birthday Party includes everything from the basic party above, plus 6 refracting telescopes to build, decorate, and take home. (Note: For each additional telescope beyond 6, please add $15 per telescope.)
Want to make your party even more memorable?
Add a full dome film, laser show, or star talk to any of the above packages. The cost is $150 for 20 people and $3.50 for each additional person.
In order to ensure that our rental process, pricing and agreed-upon services are transparent and clear to all parties, please familiarize yourself with the following prior to beginning the rental process. Fiske reserves the right to establish conditions and restrictions beyond those presented here when necessary.
If the group is affiliated with the University of Colorado, payment must be made in advance by an I.N. or ACARD. If the group is not sponsored by the University of Colorado, they must deposit 1/3 of the rental fee at least 2 weeks before the scheduled event, and the remaining is due upon conclusion of the rental. If the group cancels without 2 weeks' notice, Fiske will retain the deposit in lieu of revenues lost.
The producing group agrees to pay for the repair or replacement of any equipment or material lost or damaged during the time they are using the facility. The renter will be responsible for litigation arising from copyright violation, or injury to the staff, participants or attendees. The renter is required to obtain liability insurance. Insurance may be waived only with the approval of University Risk Management.
The capacity of the theater is 206 seated people and one or more operators. No one will be allowed in the aisles during any performance, by order the Fire Marshall. Food and drink are allowed in the lobby area only. If the lobby is used either for a reception or dinner, the renter will be held responsible for additional charges to clean the lobby if necessary.
