The greatest opportunity granted to me at college has been the ability to study and explore what I want. I have always been an academically minded person, so college being able to feed that has been wonderful. It is also allowing me to explore the world, something I have always wanted to do.
The BBC scholarship has been instrumental in me being able to afford college. I come from a lower income household which is incredibly limited in helping me financially. The generosity of donors has allowed me to pursue my dreams and work towards the future I want.
My near future plans are to go to Germany for a Global seminar in the Summer and continue my studies. Farther out, I hope to have a doctorate in Anthropology, live in Germany and become a professor there. My dream in life is to hopefully have multiple doctorates and be able to teach multiple subjects. However, none of this would be possible without this scholarship and the generosity of people. Thank you.
