What’s been the best opportunity for you at CU? The best opportunity for me at CU would definitely be volunteering at the BBC bike ride. Not only did I get to meet some administrators and the other BBC scholars, but I also got to meet the very people who funded the scholarships. I am very grateful for the opportunity to meet and get to know the people who supported me and the other BBC scholars. It was a pleasure to help everyone out before the race and cheering for them at the finish line.

How has the BBC scholarship helped you? The BBC scholarship has allowed me to jump start my journey towards medical school and helps me experience college without financial stress. I can focus on my classes and help my community as well. The BBC scholarship also allowed me to get outside my comfort zone and interact with the CU Boulder community during the BBC bike ride. But especially, it helps me in the long run save up for medical school, because most people know how expensive that can get!

What are your future plans? If it wasn't so clear already, I want to go to Medical School! As of right now I have my eyes set on studying family medicine to become a General Practitioner, I believe that the medical space is a place that everyone should feel safe and cared for in.
