What’s been the best opportunity for you at CU?

The best opportunity here at CU for me has by far been the Buffalo Bicycle Classic and becoming a BBC Scholar! It was not only fantastic to get back into volunteering, which is something I have always loved, but it has also been a huge help financially to my future and bettering my education!

How has the BBC scholarship helped you?

The BBC has not only given me a chance to attend school here at CU by helping me afford my education, but also helped me find where I belong here at CU and what I want to be a part of! Coming here and starting fresh was scary, but after seeing there are so many opportunities to get to know people and many opportunities to volunteer, it has helped me so much in finding myself and what I love to do which is help others!

What are your future plans?

My future plans are to study here for my first four years in the science department, then hopefully after attend Medical School to become an anesthesiologist!
