The best opportunity for me at CU has been the ability to gain a multitude of real world experiences in the performance industry through the University Theatre Department, and I'm looking forward to many more opportunities in the rest of my time here.
The BBC Scholarship has helped me get rid of a great amount of stress for financing my education this year and beyond. This renewable scholarship has boosted my confidence in being able to pay for college, allowing me to add an additional major to get the most out of my education.
In the future, I plan to do freelance work as an actor and stage technician. I also want to be a financial advisor for small businesses, particularly for those in the arts. My end career goal is to run a nonprofit theatre organization to make the performing arts more accessible in my local community.
