Two Environmental Engineering Grad Students win AWWA Scholarships

Sydney Ulliman has been selected as the 2018-19 Dave Caldwell Scholarship recipient from the American Water Works Association.  This scholarship was established in recognition of Brown and Caldwell co-founder Dave Caldwell, who made substantial contributions to engineering and technology in the drinking water field.  This scholarship goes to benefit students pursuing an engineering graduate degree with demonstrated ability to provide leadership in applied research and consulting in the drinking water field.  Sydney is working on her PhD in environmental engineering with Professors Karl Linden and Fernando Rosario-Ortiz.

 

Kaitlin Mattos has been selected as the 2018-19 Arcadis Scholarship recipient from the American Water Works Association.  This award provides support to a masters or doctoral candidate student seeking a degree in water with potential to provide leadership in the water service industry and pursuit of graduate work advancing the science and engineering of drinking water.  Kaity is working on her PhD in environmental engineering with Professor Karl Linden.
