CU Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (CU SPUR) has funding for 20 students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science for summer 2017. The application is now open. It will close at 5 PM on Friday, May 19th.

Students will be eligible to work up to 30 hours per week over 10 weeks beginning on May 30th and ending on August 4th. Participation includes attending several required seminars and a poster presentation on August 4th. Students will be paid $12/hour. Minimum GPA required to apply is a 2.7. Each student will have a graduate mentor to help them throughout the summer.

In order to participate you must be here, on the Boulder campus for the entire 10 weeks (4/30-8/4). Please do NOT apply if you cannot make this time commitment.

Please be prepared to submit a cover letter and resume when you are filling out the application. You may apply for up to 3 projects. You only need to submit one cover letter that addresses the projects you are interested in.

Deadline to apply is May 19th. Students will be notified by May 24th and must be ready to accept/decline the position by May 25th.

Please note that prior DLA students are not eligible for this program. Also, if you are chosen for this program you can NOT be a DLA in a future term.
