Undergrad Internship Opportunities at Argonne

Each summer Argonne supports more than 200 undergraduate students through various internship programs. These programs are essential to growing a diverse workforce by providing our next generation of scientists and engineers with opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge, explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers, and engage in real-world research.
 
They are currently accepting applications for summer programs. 
 
Important Program Deadlines

  • Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) – 5:00 p.m. EST, January 13, 2017. U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funded 10-week internship program that provides students with a research experience.
      
  • Community College Internship (CCI) – 5:00 p.m. EST, January 13, 2017. DOE funded 10-week internship program that provides students with a technical experience.
      
  • Student Research Participation (SRP) – 5:00 p.m. CST, February 1, 2017. Argonne Division funded 10-week internship program that provides students with a research experience.
      
  • Research Aide (RA) – 5:00 p.m. CST, February 1, 2017. Argonne division funded temporary employment program that provides students an opportunity to work on a project team.
