The Florida State University High Performance Materials Institute and supporting FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is pleased to announce that application to our two concurrent summer Research Experience for Undergraduates programs for students pursuing STEM related degrees is now open: 

  • Diversity in Research and Engineering of Advanced Materials (DREAM)
  • Retaining Engineers Through Research Entrepreneurship and Advanced-Materials Training (RETREAT)

Program will be held from May 29th to August 4nd 2017.

  • Stipend of $5600
  • Travel allowances
  • Housing with feeding allowance

These programs offer an excellent opportunity for students to extend their research experience as an undergraduate.

Requirements

Undergraduates from all STEM disciplines who are US citizens or permanent residents can apply. Women & minority students are especially encouraged to apply.

The current transcripts and two letters of reference should be sent to the RETREAT Coordinator listed in the links below by Jan 30th, 2017. Initial application reviews will begin on February 15th, and applicants should hear back by March 15th 2017.
