The University of Queensland’s Global Change Institute (GCI) is seeking PhD candidates to contribute to transdisciplinary research on water for equality and wellbeing.

UQ Global Change Institute offers PhD Scholarship on water for equality and wellbeing

The scholarship is a tax-free stipend available for three years and candidates will be co-supervised by their relevant UQ School and the GCI as part of the UQ Water for Equality and Wellbeing Initiative. Applications must be submitted to the UQ Graduate School by 22 April (11:55pm AEST). 

Successful applicants will join a multi-disciplinary team of researchers at UQ addressing the challenges of water quality, quantity, protection delivery and equality, and its influence on environmental hygiene and community health and wellbeing. 

PhD candidates will be part of a cohort experience through the Global Change Institute, which will include discussion groups, peer exchange, skill-building workshops, transdisciplinary training, placements in relevant organisations, co-supervision, special guest speakers and opportunities to engage in GCI Sustainable Water events.
