As some of you may know, the College of Engineering and Applied Science has designated an area on the second floor as a Quiet Area. The room number is ECST 224. This area is intended for students to be able to go and have a quiet place. It is not intended for group meetings, napping, etc. Please be respectful of others and be quiet when using this space!
Some student groups have asked if they could put up artwork to decorate the space. The answer is yes! I will be accepting requests (photos) of artwork you’d like display. The artwork should not have any religious significance or be unique to a particular culture or ethnicity. We would like to keep the space from becoming cluttered so please keep your selections simple and on a small scale.
If your student group would like to submit a request for artwork you’d like to display in this space please submit it to Sharon.E.Anderson@Colorado.Edu by Monday, March 7th. Please be sure to include a photo of the artwork. All submissions will be reviewed by UCEC (University of Colorado Engineering Council) and will be notified by Monday, March 21st if their submission is approved.
