I grew up in upstate South Carolina before heading to the midwest and getting my undergraduate degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Denison University in Ohio. I stayed in the area and completed a Master’s of Education in College Student Personnel from Ohio University, where I worked in the Student Conduct office. In 2019, I took an internship at CU Boulder advising students in the Program for Exploratory Studies before accepting a position advising Social Science students in the College of Arts and Science in 2020, where I worked for over five years before joining the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences to work with Biomedical Engineering students.
Outside of work, I enjoy video games of all kinds (but fighting games and RPG’s especially), cooking, live music, and working out!
