While advising is not where I (and definitely not my parents) would have imagined I’d end up, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a professional home on the CEAS Mechanical Engineering advising team. It’s an amazing feeling to come to work every day feeling unceasingly impressed by our students and the staff and faculty who help to support them.

Although I’m growing more accustomed to calling Boulder home now, I stayed close to my childhood home for most of my life—including the completion of my Bachelor’s in Sociology (University of Arizona) and Master’s in Counseling (Northern Arizona University)—before making The Big Move out to Colorado in 2016. I still can’t get over the beautiful mountain range commute, vibrant farm and wildlife, public compost bins and sushi burritos! More broadly, my non-Boulder-specific interests include board games, video games, all the foods and pugs.
