Thanks to a generous donation from CU Economics alumnus James Bartlett, the Department of Economics is accepting applications for Bartlett Internships for Economics. There are two internship categories: Bartlett Summer Internships and Bartlett Academic Year Internships.

Bartlett Summer Internships
Bartlett Summer Interns receive $4,000 in financial support during the summer of their internship. These internships encourage students to undertake rigorous summer internship projects that are unpaid by the partner business, agency, or non-profit. Support provides interns the freedom to pursue interesting projects without having to forego summer income. Internships are available for both course credit and non-course credit projects.

Requirements
• GPA of 3.0+ and Economics GPA of 3.25+.
• Demonstrated financial need as measured by the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Other: Preference will be given to an outstanding thesis student and/or CU in DC Internship.

Bartlett Academic Year Internships
These internships provide financial support for students enrolling in the Economics Internships for Credit Program. Bartlett Academic Year Interns will be paid $20 per hour with at least 40 hours of work required per course credit. Awards for 3 credits will be a maximum of $2,400 and for 6 credits a maximum of $4,800.
