May 2025 Digital Accessibility Buff Award Winner

Stanley Ly was nominated due to his significant strides in making CU Boulder more accessible for individuals with disabilities through his collaborative work with the Digital Accessibility Office, SA Marketing and Communication, and the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) team. Stanley took the initiative to address the digital accessibility of FSAP's online platforms and digital interfaces, ensuring that they better meet the needs of CU Boulder’s employee population, including individuals with disabilities.

One of Stanley’s key contributions was leading a comprehensive audit of FSAP’s digital interfaces. He spearheaded the effort to gather critical feedback and assess necessary improvements to enhance accessibility. This audit provided the foundation for meaningful changes that have made FSAP’s online resources easier to use for all individuals, particularly those with disabilities.

Stanley dedicated his time and resources to this important endeavor, demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and accessibility. His efforts have not only improved access for CU Boulder’s employees but have also set a standard for other departments across the university. By proactively identifying and addressing accessibility gaps, Stanley has significantly contributed to creating a more inclusive environment at CU Boulder.
