This event is open to all staff, student staff, and faculty members within the CU System.

Visit the ATLAS Directions and Parking page for more information.

What to Expect

Each day will cover a wide range of digital accessibility topics such as an introduction to assistive technology, manual accessibility testing, captioning and accessible media, approaching outreach and awareness, building sustainable accessibility practices and workflows, and more! There will be a mix of presentations, discussions, and workshops appropriate for individuals who are new to digital accessibility as well as those who are more experienced practitioners.

The Digital Accessibility Summer Camp is built on the foundation of doing the right thing over approaching accessibility as a checkbox, and learning over expertise. Come as you are and use this opportunity to share and learn with your fellow campers!

This event is designed to feel a little less like a traditional conference and a little more like summer camp. Rather than the typical conference business attire, we encourage wearing your best summer camp looks (comfortable shoes/boots, jeans, t-shirts, bandanas, hats, etc.).

Automated closed captions will be available, and accessible presentation materials will be shared in advance.
