The Student Organization Allocations Committee (SOAC) is a CUSG funding board that distributes student fee dollars to student organizations in order to help promote enrichment, education and inclusiveness of the CU Boulder community. SOAC makes decisions from a neutral viewpoint by understanding that everyone needs that place to feel included.

SOAC funding timeline for fall 2023:

  • Aug. 1 – Organizations can start submitting requests via BuffConnect to be heard by SOAC. Requests will be reviewed by your CSI liaison before they get sent to SOAC.
  • Sept. 18 – Organizations that are scheduled for the first hearing will be notified by SOAC with the date and time of their hearing.
  • Sept. 25 – First SOAC hearing of the 2023-24 academic year.
